Recent changes to the system for skills recognition have determined that the MACG Training is now the minimum requirement for non-Australian trained electricians to achieve an Australian electrical licence.
The MACG Training covers the following modules:
The MACG Training runs for 21 days (Fri,Sat &Sun) over a 7 week block and costs £3000.

The white card assessment is requirement for anyone who would like to be qualified to work on Australian construction sites. The course covers Occupational Health & Safety for the Australian construction industry.
The assessment runs for approximately 4 hours depending on the individual.

If you are looking to move to Australia and work as an electrician you will need to complete VETASSESS as the first step of the process.
Once you have achieved a level one or level two in your competency profile (paper based) you can obtain an Offshore Technical Skills Record on completion of the practical skills one day assessment.
VETASSESS look for certain criteria and if you don't submit the right documentation you may not receive the adequate level in order to move forward. A level 3 candidate is unsuccessul and the candidate can not progress to a skills assessment. We will help to process your applications for VETASSESS at a fee of £250. Please make payment below and we will be in contact with you on how to go about the process and advise you on the relevant documents that you need.
On submitting the application to VETASSESS which is processed in Australia it takes 3-4 weeks for feedback on your Level outcome which determines if you can then do the practical. We will process the admin for your VETASSESS Electrical and Plumbing applications for £250 per application please give us a call if you this is something you would like our help on.
